Xoptron Hardness
Description
Xoptron Digital Vickers System provide high accuracy measurement up to two decimal digits of micron. A wide range of hardness test methods can be carry out. In PC analysis mode, users can generate automatic hardness value by one click.
Fracture Toughness Analysis for Brittle Materials
Besides normal indent deformation, brittle materials undergo cracking during Vickers indentation process. Both the crack and indentation dimensions are important to obtain IFT (indentation fracture toughness) value, expressed in Kc as a standard function based on JIS R 1607/IF method. XHARD Vickers system is capable to automatically generate IFT value in PC mode.

Irregular indentation mark measurement
Deformation of the material tissue or non-uniformity of the specimen surface condition, the irregularly shaped indentation marks may occur. MHT-M and MHT-MV systems allow precise measurements even with such irregular indentation marks.
